EMBA Program

In its first phase, the institution is launching its Executive MBA (EMBA) Program tailored for mid-career working professionals, who seek to obtain an HEC accredited MBA degree while maintaining their full-time job and social responsibilities.Classes will be held in the evenings (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm), this flexible program offers a thorough grounding in accounting, economics, finance, marketing, operations, organizational behavior, political, applied statistics, and strategy.

EMBA at IB&M would provide a platform for students to study alongside accomplished and experienced managers bringing unrivalled richness to the learning experience. Working full-time while studying for MBA enables students to immediately apply new ideas, frameworks and thinking tools to the work environment. What is an Executive MBA?

The Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) is a unique type of MBA program which is specifically designed for working managers and professionals; structured to allow continuity in their professions as they undertake an education degree. From Fall 2010 onwards, semester 1 and semester 2 will be offered alternatively.
A scheduled course may not be offered if less than 15 students register for
it during a semester.
An unscheduled course may be offered if 15 or more students are ready to register.
Level 2 courses must be completed before taking a level 3 course.
Instructor permission is required to take a higher level course before completing
the previous level.
Pre-requisite courses for a subject(shown in parenthesis) must be completed
before taking the course.

Admission Criteria

At IB&M, students may have different educational backgrounds. Some may have a bachelor´s degree in business management or professional degree in different fields, such as Engineering, English, Medicine, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry or law.

There are no age restrictions to admission to the EMBA program however the selection criteria is strictly merit-based whereby applicants will be assessed upon fulfillment of the following conditions:

• The applicant must possess a minimum of 16 years of education resulting in a Masters or Bachelor´s degree from an HEC recognized University, with at least 2 years of full-time work experience in a managerial position.
• Candidates holding only a Bachelor´s degree of less than 4 years duration will be required to produce an HEC equivalence certificate of completion of 16 years of education.
• Applicants with 14 years of formal education with extensive managerial/executive work experience will be considered provided they have sufficient references and proof of experience.

EMBA Course Registration Guideline

IB&M UET, Lahore offers flexibility in course registration for its Executive MBA students. They may register for a minimum of 1 course and a maximum of 3 courses per semester.

EMBA Registration and Bank Account Details

1. Registration forms will not be accepted without proof of submission of dues and incomplete forms will be rejected.
2. IB&M has the right to add/drop a course based on number of enrollments.

4. Local applicants may deposit their dues in the above mentioned bank branch and attach a photocopy of the receipt along with the registration form. Students from other cities may send a demand draft.
5. Please note that deposits should not be made to the UET Lahore account since that account is separate from the IB&M UET Lahore bank account
6. The registration form will not be accepted unless payment of dues has been made and a deposit slip has been attached with it.
