MBA (Evening) Course “Organizational Behavior” has been cancelled from the Course List being offered in the Spring 2010.
The subject course will be now offered in a future semester. Students of MBA (Evening) are advised to register for alternate course.

COURSE"
IB&M is offering an exciting opportunity for busy working professionals by offering “Accelerated Week Courses”. These Courses are designed to meet the needs of executives and managers committed in their hectic week schedule. The first Course titling “Managing People for High Performance” is specially structured to meet the demand of industry and business managers, who have pressing engagements on rest part of the week. The Class is schedule on Saturday evening (6p.m -9p.m) and Sunday morning (10 am-6p.m) and starting from January 18-01-2010.
Mr. Shahid Ahmad from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) has joined IB&M as Full-Time Faculty Member on December 19, 2009. The professional has vast education & teaching experience which includes 07 years international working experience & 14 years professional experience in different national level organizations. He has done his MS (Operations Research) from University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign (UIUC), MBA from IBA, Karachi and BSc (Mechanical Engineering) from UET Lahore.
Mr. Arshad Mahmood has joined IB&M as Full-Time Faculty Member (Assistant Professor) on December 29, 2009 who has 16 years international working experience & 5 years teaching & research experience at national level. He has done his MSc in Marketing from University of Birmingham, UK and BS (Hons) in Marketing Communication from University of London, UK.

Panel Discussion on Project Management
The IB&M Institute, UET Lahore is going to arrange a Panel Discussion
on the topic “Emerging Challenges, Problems and Critical Issues in
Project Management” on December 22, 2009 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in
Seminar Hall near Chemical Engineering Department, UET Lahore. Experts
from Industry and Academia will give their views on this emerging
topic.
"It is for the information of all concerned that the Authorities at
IB&M have revised the per credit hour rate for our EMBA program. The
new rate per credit hour would be Rs. 4000/- beginning Spring Semester
2010."

lecture on “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” on Wednesday,
December 09, 2009. Mr. Syed Qasim Shah, Director Studies of Government
Engineering Academy Punjab Lahore will deliver the lecture from 6:00 –
7:15 pm. This lecture will be held in IB&M department.

Mr. Riaz Ahmed from COMSAT, Islamabad with 14 years working experience has joined IB&M as Manager Operations with effect from September 14, 2009. He has done his MSc. in Computer Science and MSc. in Project Management.
Mr. Muhammad Asif, from UET, Lahore with 14 years experience in accounts and finance has joined IB&M as Finance Officer with effect from October 07, 2009. He has done his Masters in Mathematics.
Mr. Ali Gibran, Faculty Member at IB&M has also taken additional charge for “Office of Campus Life” and “Research Forum.
Ms. Shazia Usman, MBA with 5 years experience in accounts and finance has joined IB&M as Teaching Team Member (TTM). In addition to this she has taken responsibilities of Accounts Officer with effect from October 1, 2009.
